Summary: Keeper's Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage set between the villages of Glenridding and Patterdale. The cottage sleeps 2 and has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Pets welcome.

Rooms: Downstairs - open plan living/dining kitchen with a cosy wood burning stove and comfy seating. Upstairs: Upstairs there is a good double bedroom with a king sized bed & en-suite shower room.
Other Facilities: Full central heating, Wood burning stove, TV, DVD and CD player. There are beautiful beams, and stripped wooden flooring throughout with rugs. Please note oil and electric usage will be charged during your stay.
Pets: Pets are very welcome. There is a charge of £15 per pet - maximum 2.

Outside: Outside there is a pretty garden and parking for one car. There are lovely views from the front of the cottage towards Place Fell and across towards Ullswater.
The Local Area of Glenridding and Patterdale
Nearest Pubs: The Beckside Bar in Glenridding and the White Lion in Patterdale are eacha bout a 10 minute walk. Glenridding is also home to 2 hotels with pubs, The Travellers Rest pub, Fellbites restaurant and Fairlights Cafe.
Nearest Shops: In Glenridding there are 2 general stores (one with a cashpoint), Glenridding Gallery and Catsytcam outdoor shop. Patterdale has a Post Office and Village Store.
By Road: About 30 minutes drive down the A592 from Junction 40 of the M6 (Penrith). About 40 minutes from Junction 36 (via Kendal and Windermere. Keswick about 20 minutes by car. When you leave Glenridding you will see the turning to Grisedale Bridge on the left hand side of the road when travelling south.
By Train: Nearest Stations at Penrith and Windermere
By Bus: Regular bus service to Glenridding from Penrith (all year) and Windermere (summer only).
